The final Lake District walk of the year, in a year where we thought we might not climb at all. The weather was not kind at all this time - freezing rain, mist and hail for around 7 hours, making this the wettest walk of all the mountains we’ve climbed here. It was only on the way down from Rossett Pike that we got the views down the Langdale Valley, and they almost(!) made up for it! Only 11 more to climb now to complete the 214 challenge - set up for an early(ish) 2021 finish, walking’s going to feel very empty when we’ve done them…might have to think about the Welsh summits next!!
